Oprah Winfrey to Interview Michael Jackson Accusers From ‘Leaving Neverland’

Winfrey will talk with Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who claim the pop legend sexually abused them. They are also the primary focus of the documentary, ‘Leaving Neverland.’ Both men were under the age of 13 when they say Jackson committed the acts. Jackson went to trial in 2004 for allegedly molesting another child and was found not guilty. It will air on HBO and OWN. Jackson’s family has ripped the documentary, calling it “one-sided” and “tabloid character assassination.” The “Beat It” singer’s estate has also sued HBO for airing it before Oprah’s interview.

Jordyn Woods Apologizes to Khloe Kardashian on ‘Red Table Talk’

Woods recently blamed her makeout session with the father of Kardashian’s child, Tristan Thompson, on being drunk. According to TMZ, she told Jada Pinkett Smith a different story on ‘Red Table Talk.’ Woods was reportedly not intoxicated and is very sorry for her actions. According to TMZ sources, she chose to tell the truth on the show due to her relationship with the Smith family. Woods has been thrown out of Kylie Jenner’s house and scorned by the Kardashian family. She reportedly feels more hopeful about her future after getting the truth out. The episode airs Friday.

Janet Jackson’s Las Vegas Residency to Launch in May

Jackson’s show, “Metamorphosis,” will start on May 17 at the MGM resort’s Park Theater. The residency will consist of 14 shows between the months of May, July and August. Via press release “Metamorphosis” will also commemorate the 30-year anniversary of her iconic album, ‘Rhythm Nation.’ Jackson released a new single, “Made for Now,” in August and is expected to release a new album later this year.

Thrift Store Donations Surge Thanks to Marie Kondo

A lot of people are finding their stuff no longer “sparks joy” due to the popularity of Netflix’s ‘Tidying Up With Marie Kondo.’ Since the show debuted January 1, five of Goodwill’s branches say donations have increased up to 30%. Nonprofit organizations and Salvation Army stores say they’ve also seen an uptick in items.

Regina King Wins Best Supporting Actress at 2019 Oscars

King played the character of Sharon Rivers in ‘If Beale Street Could Talk.’ She beat out Amy Adams, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz and Marina de Tavira for the award. This is King’s first ever nomination at the Academy Awards. She has won a total of 35 awards for her role in ‘If Beale Street Could Talk.’ Among those was best performance by an actress in a supporting role at the 76th Golden Globes. ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ was written and directed by Barry Jenkins. The movie is nominated for two other Oscars including best original music score and best adapted screenplay.

There’s a Theory That Whoopi Goldberg Is the Secret Oscars Host

Whoopi Goldberg has been absent from her regular hosting duties on ‘The View,’ leading many to speculate that she is the secret host of the Academy Awards. The 2019 Oscars are still officially without a host for the second time in history. Goldberg was the first woman to solo host the awards in 1994, and she hosted again in 1996, 1999 and 2002. Kevin Hart was named host in December, but he stepped down amid backlash over his past homophobic comments. The 91st Academy Awards will be broadcast by ABC this Sunday, Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. EST.
